Adobe Stock SALT LAKE CITY — A Salt Lake City street was blocked off to traffic Friday as a SWAT team attempted to negotiate with a man barricaded inside a motor home. The incident began about 2:15 a.m. when there was an altercation between two men. One man suffered injuries not considered to be life-threatening after being assaulted by the other man who had an undisclosed weapon, said Salt Lake police detective Michael Ruff. Police were able to track down the man suspected of the assault to an RV parked on 400 North near Pamela Way (1750 West). The man refused to come out of the vehicle so a SWAT team was called because he was believed to be armed. The man came out of the RV and surrendered just after 9 a.m. This story will be updated as additional information becomes available.
