TULSA, Okla. – A man has been arrested after he attempted to crush another man against a trailer with his truck at the Mingo RV Park in Tulsa. Police say the scene started around 3 a.m. Friday morning when two men were speaking about the possibility of working together while drinking alcohol. Tulsa Police said they got two separate calls from the scene. One from the suspect, and one from the victim. According to police, the suspect and victim got into an argument during the interview and that is when the suspect used his truck to pin the victim up against a nearby trailer and the trailer hitch. Police say the victim told them he feared for his life so he pulled out a gun and shot through the suspect’s windshield. One of the bullets did graze the suspect’s shoulder but he is okay. TPD said that the suspect then drove to a nearby Quiktrip and called police saying he had been shot around the same time the victim also called police saying he had been assaulted “We see vehicles used as weapons more than you think unfortunately it’s a snap decision on the operator’s part it’s definitely a weapon when it’s used improperly,” said Tulsa Sgt. Paul Madden Police said the suspect has been arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction.
