1932-2020 Janette “Netsie” Olga Blandford Adams went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020. Janette was born Feb. 26, 1932, to Andrew S. and Addie Lee Atkins Blandford. She graduated from Brackenridge High School, and she married John Richard Adams on Sept. 2, 1950. Theirs was the first wedding held in the newly built Boldtville Presbyterian Church, and they shared 63 years together. Janette was a wonderful person who blessed all who knew her, and devoted her life to her husband, John, and their three sons, Gerald, Tommy, and Larry. She was a talented gardener, seamstress, and crafter. She created many beautiful items for family and friends. John and Janette contributed as founding members of the exclusive La Vernia community. Janette loved traveling with John, having spent almost 30 years of retirement enjoying RV clubs all around North America. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Charles Blandford and Johnny Blandford; sisters Mary Lee Toothman and Maybelle Dillard; husband John R. Adams; and son Larry R. Adams. Janette is survived by sons Gerald R. Adams and Tommy L. Adams and wife Becky; daughter-in-law Darlene Adams; grandchildren Carrey Freeman, Jocelyn Payne, Amanda Ramon, Melissa Cannon, J. J. Adams, Raelyn Adams, Dr. John Adams, and James Adams; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
