The streaming service is home to a growing slate of original programming—recently including Justin Timberlake’s Palmer , M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant, and The Oprah Conversation —so if you’ve been considering giving it a shot, here’s how the new free trial works. What Apple is offering The regular free trial for Apple TV+ is a mere seven days, but Apple offers a one-year free trial for the streaming service with the purchase of an eligible Apple device . If yours was set to expire between now and June of this year, you’ll be able to keep on watching through July. That might not sound like a huge extension, but it’s actually Apple’s second. The company previously made the same deal for people whose free trials were expiring in October of last year, bumping the date back to February of 2021. Apple TV+ normally costs $4.99 a month. Those who already started paying the $4.99 monthly fee, but are now able to get some extra free time with the service, will receive an App Store credit to offset the costs of February through June.
