I want to head south soon and I just got solar stuff, but…I’ve never boondocked.

Do I just go find a national forest and ask a ranger where I can park and for how long? It will be on the East coast and there are not that many great-looking options on the boondocking websites in the southeast US – mostly Walmart and rest areas for results.

What are the chances of getting at least some Verizon coverage in a boondocking spot?

do you just ask other boondockers where you can find water? Or do you have to stop by a harvest host once in awhile to fill up?

Are boondocking places like national forests affected by Covid lockdown?

If you can answer any or all of these questions, or just offer some assurance, you would make me one happy camper
