HOLCOMB – Gregory Bribiesca 81, passed away at his home in Apache Junction, AZ, on Friday Dec. 25, 2020. He was born Oct. 12, 1939 in Holcomb KS, the son of Florencio and Cyrilla (Parra) Bribiesca. He married the love of his life Blanche (Winfrey) May 5, 1958 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Garden City KS. Gregory attended Holcomb Schools, and graduated from Garden City Community College and Missouri Auction School. In 1957 he joined United States Army and served until he was honorably discharge in 1963. After his discharge he worked in sales for Garden City Co-op, was the hardware Manager for Gibson’s Discount Store, was the low income families Executive Director for Kansas Council Of Agricultural Workers, was a salesman for Western Motor Company, was a Foster parent, work at USD 457 and after moving to Apache Junction, AZ, in 2005 he was a Gate Security Monitor at Superstition Sunrise RV resort until his death. Gregory was also a proud entrepreneur of Greg’s Shirt Shack, Buy Rite Auction, Blanche’s Daycare and during retirement he owned Greg’s Tick Tocks. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, loved being an auctioneer, traveling, crafts, woodworking, making clocks, shooting pool with his friends, playing BINGO, most of all he loved being a husband to his childhood sweetheart, a father to his children and a grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
